How is Newquay town in Cornwall?

Reading Time: 2 minutes

So, this is my first blog ever. And probably will be a short one. I wanted to share my experience from my trip from Cornwall, UK, and to be more specific, it will be Newquay, while I have visited more places with my wife and child, in this post I will share my experiences  from Newquay.

Newquay was the first place we have stayed, we booked a place through Airbnb for couple of days which cost us around £500. Well, not bad price for couple of nights, to visit Newquay.

I really liked the beach in Newquay, I photo I have attached with the beach while we were walking around.

I have never visited Cornwall before, the way I have chosen this town was on Google. I was looking for best town for couples, I had so many options, but still decided to go for Newquay.

I was really impressed with one place in particular in Newquay, 2 Houses built on 2 kind of island, with one bridge connecting them together. I was kind of asking myself how cool is to live there during the summer, but also was thinking how dangerous could be to live there during the winter and storms.

A scenic view of a beach framed by two rocky cliffs, with a suspension bridge connecting them. The clear blue sky and calm ocean create a serene atmosphere, while people enjoy the sandy beach below.

One thing I have noticed, that prices are way more higher than where we live, I guess that’s because it’s really touristic place. Also, what I have noticed, is that there were a lot of foreign cars in Cornwall, so again as I said, it’s because is very touristic corner in England.

Just to wrap this up…

Would I visit Newquay again, probably yes, but not in the near future, the reason is because it cost a lot to drive from where I live, which is around 12h. The prices are a bit higher, and going out it is expensive. If you are planning to visit Newquay, it is a nice place with beautiful beached, and it’s worth the visit if you have extra cash, never been there or you want to spend some time together with your partner.
