In this post, I will talk mostly about Christmas in Birmingham.
I will start from how we have decided to visit Birmingham, me and my wife we were talking about Liverpool or Birmingham. While we have visited Liverpool couple of times, we have never been to Birmingham. So we have decided, that’s it will be great choice as we have never visited this city.
From beginning we planned to just go there and come back home, well, this didn’t happen, why ? Because we left home late, around 1PM(ish), and it was 3hours drive for us. You can imagine, what time we have arrived, also, don’t forget as we had to stop at the service to have a quick food.
When we have arrived in Birmingham, I found a car park, in city centre. It was ok, however at the end we have paid £7 for 3hours stay, a bit expensive.
Anyway, we have visited the shopping centre, that was mostly for my wife and she wanted to buy a Xmas gift. The shopping centre was big, I think you could find there pretty much everything you wanted. But also, it was so full with people, that is was really hard for us to walk.
That evening we have decided to stop overnight at Travelodge and stayed there so we can come back to the city again. We found some good place to stay around 30 minutes drive away from the city, and it cost as £49 for just 1 night. And we were really happy with it, and also was next to the service, and we had some food from there as well.
Next day we went back to the city to continue out visiting and my wife she wanted to buy something from the Sephora shop. That shop was full with people, and I have decided to wait for her outsite.
After the shopping, we went back to the town to see the Christmas Market. We liked, it was ok, however we haven’t purchased anything from there.
Anyway, we were somehow impressed with the town, but we don’t think we will be visiting the city again in the future,
